This black dress has been a very good friend for this pregnancy. It fits like a night gown, is about as flattering as a hospital gown, and sees me through days when I can’t be bothered to put on more than either of those two choices. Luckily with the help of my dear ol’ accessory friends I can amp this baby up and make it worthy of taking past my front door. It is now a frigid 79 degrees in Hong Kong and the perfect time to pull out my fave pumpkin DVF coat! I recently picked up another one in the same style but with a cow meets algae print (far nicer in person than I make it sound) at the last DVF sample sale. Once I had the dress and the coat it was time to add the finishing accoutrement to the look. Queue these leopard boots that I bought many months ago and have been waiting for the perfect cold day to set them loose on the town! I can’t tell you how much I adore these boots. They are comfy and the right blend of dressy and casual and, yes, leopard… my favorite neutral! But what really set this off for me was the addition of these Ports 1961 glasses. I have been sporting fake specs since high school days so this was not a huge leap for me but the thick wood frame just gave them a whole new nerd-chic vibe that I dig the most. I can see this accompanying me on trip of all kinds where one must pack in a  carry on and must rely on solely accessories to elevate ensembles. I usually pack a few scarves for this very reason (turban, belt, cravat, etc) but maybe these fabulous four eyes can take over that role!
