Alex Black: Designer Alex Black makes one thing and she makes it very very well! Her signature shirtdress comes in a few styles and several fabrics. The quality is top notch and the fit is sheer perfection. The dress is the perfect length for travel or running around after my toddler son and it skims the body with ease making it effortlessly fabulous. You will buy one then you will return and buy ten. Beware!

Chicameo: During the summer months, snap up their cutesy pompom bedazzled minis for dancing the night away at your beachfront bar of choice. Come fall get your hands on the super long and wildly flattering panel pants which look great paired with their cool cropped jackets.
Christing C.: If you love the boho-chic style then click on over to Christing C’s site. Floaty long-sleeve mini dresses abound perfect for festival season. I loved these forgiving pieces when I was pregnant too! Be sure to check out the cute kids line inspired by her sweet daughter Ever!
Grana: The perfect silk shirts in loads of styles and colours. Find one you love and buy it in every shade! New in the line up are silk shorts, comfy dresses, and a host of denim options! Don’t forget they also offer all the basics your man will need too!

Laykh: Well-crafted real skin bags for less than their high-end designer counterparts. You can even have one customized to your specifications and turn your dream bag into real life! I had a white ostrich convertible backpack made and it is the coolest accessory when the warm weather hits.
Melissa Bui: New to the HK scene is the retro glam line for ladies Melissa Bui. Pieces are reminiscent of 50’s gowns and are hand painted and hand embroidered making the perfect ladylike statement for your next big event.
Mischa | Photo: Sabrina Sikora | sabrinasikoraphotography.com
Mischa: Mischa bags are like potato chips in that you can’t have just one! I myself have seven (did I just admit to that?!)! These well-priced printed canvas bags come in a range of practical styles from clutches and totes to bucket bags and duffels and make the perfect travel companion. Be sure to get all the matching pieces from your purchase monogrammed.
S.Nine: There’s a reason any HK woman worth her salt owns an S. Nine cocktail dress or evening gown. These stunning designs drape dramatically on the form and make you feel like a million bucks without having to spend it to do so.
Tangram: These are artistic yet wearable pieces that make you look and feel instantly cool! For a quick fix try the necklaces or the lingerie line. Be sure to also pop by G.O.D. and snatch up the collab pieces which marry old school Chinese aesthetics with hip new prints and patterns.
Vamastyle | Photo: Sabrina Sikora | sabrinasikoraphotography.com
Vamastyle: Any insta-babe will surely sport Vamastyle on her next beach getaway. Personal faves include the matching pants and one-piece swimsuit, which give you the look of a romper but with more functionality for beach and lounge.
What the Frock?!: No matter your age, size, or profession a What the Frock?! dress has a place in your wardrobe. These easy to wear and easy to pair dresses are perfect for the office, cocktails, or your next weekend abroad!
Raven + Rose | Martice Milton | marticemiltonphotography.com
Be on the lookout for a new edgy lingerie brand called Raven + Rose soon too! Stylist and blogger Jasmine Smith has all the naughty bits covered (but just barely) with lace and mesh and lots of straps holding it all together. This is lingerie you actually want seen so toss it on under a low cut top or white tank for maximum impact.
