This post was originally going to be called Represent Yo Hood but thought better of it. It is such a fitting title due to my two shirt choices. First up, was the loving of Hong Kong (my current hood) in clothing form and then as a proud UGA supporter after their win over Florida! Go Dawgs! I am also trying to rustle up one of these elusive “I Love Macon” shirts so if anyone finds one and wants to send it my way please do so! Every time I am back home in Macon, GA I scrounge through vintage shops looking for old road race t-shirts, Cherry Blossom Festival t-shirts, and basically anything left over from the 80’s when graphics were better and the slogans were cheesier. I have never been a jeans a t-shirt kind of a girl but that hasn’t stopped me from hoarding funny ones I have found! I recently realized that when paired with a skirt these cotton creations are actually dressed up just enough for me to want to sport! If you are finding yourself in a t-shirt rut then try layering them under a blazer… even better if that blazer or jacket has studs or sequins to give the look a little contrast! But my fave look…pair your vintage tee with a sequin maxi skirt! I am trying to find out where to have one of these made as they sold out too quickly for me to order one at NastyGal!
