Model-photographer, Georgia native and mum of two, Sabrina Sikora joins me to chat about her experiences growing up in the modelling industry, taking part in pageants in the American South, how she transitioned to behind the camera and what she would do if her kids wanted to pursue modelling too.
Coming from a highly image-conscious industry that wasn’t always the most uplifting, Sabrina emphasises the importance of being kind to yourself and shining a light on others to lift them up too.
After a number of years in Hong Kong and now based in Singapore, Sabrina talks about why she chose to do traditional Chinese confinement after the birth of her children as well as raising kids in the world of social media.
All in all, Sabrina is one of the kindest and most uplifting individuals I’ve had the pleasure of meeting, her personal mantra of “all forward motion counts” is something I think we can all use, especially during these challenging times, when it can be a little difficult to see the wood for the trees.
